Drainage Channel Mould Buyer Guide

Use this checklist to match drainage channel, U-drain and cover moulds to your local stormwater project before asking for a quotation.

Common project choices

  • U-drain channels: open channel bodies for roadside drainage, irrigation ditches and industrial park stormwater lines.
  • Drainage cover moulds: slotted, multi-hole or grating-style covers for pedestrian and light vehicle areas.
  • Ditch slab and catch basin parts: matched components for side ditches, inspection points and small drainage nodes.
  • Custom profiles: local wall thickness, cover seat, slot pattern and logo or marking can be reviewed from drawings.

Material and design notes

Most drainage mould buyers compare PP, ABS and PE according to concrete part size, expected reuse cycle, demoulding method and budget. For covers with many holes or narrow ribs, the mould structure should leave enough demoulding clearance and avoid weak corners.

  • Confirm finished concrete dimensions, not only mould outside size.
  • Check whether the cover needs anti-slip texture, logo or drainage slot direction.
  • For mixed orders, group U-drains, covers and catch basin parts by project line for easier packing.

Drainage Mould FAQ

Can you make drainage cover moulds from samples or drawings?

Yes. Send finished product dimensions, drawings, sample photos or local standards. We review the mould structure and quote standard or custom production.

What concrete grade is recommended?

We recommend C25-C30 concrete with proper vibration and curing for standard drainage components. Heavy-duty covers may require higher grades.

Can one shipment include covers, channels and catch basins?

Yes. Mixed-SKU orders are common for municipal supply and drainage contractors who need multiple component sizes in one shipment.
